Post-Secularity and Global Politics: The Need for a Radical Redefinition

Fred Dallmayr, Professor of philosophy and political science at the University of Notre Dame (USA) and Co-Chair of the World Public Forum - Dialogue of Civilizations presented a lecture on "Post-Secularity and Global Politics: The Need for a Radical Redefinition" at the conference on " The Post-Secular in International Politics" held at the University of Sussex in England on October 27-28, 2011.

He presented the keynote address at the International Peace Festival conference held at Kyung Hee University in Seoul, Korea, from October 31 to November 1. The title of his keynote address: "The Body Politic: Fortunes and Misfortunes of a Concept."

He presents the main keynote address at the "First World Humanities Forum" organized by UNESCO in Busan, Korea, on November 24-26, 2011. The title of his keynote: "Humanizing Humanity: The Global Significance of the Humanities."

He has also been invited to present an address at the 4th Global Forum of the United Nations - Alliance of Civilizations held in Doha, Qatar, on December 11-13, 2011.
