Fr. Boulos Wehbe is the coordinator of the Joint Christian Committee in Lebanon and actively engaged in Christian-Muslim and Ecumenical Dialogue, in addition to being a presenter and host of various TV programs in Lebanon.
Fr. Wehbe is also a member of the Lebanese and Arab Associations of Sociology, has participated in numerous conferences and has many published works in the fields he is engaged in. He is affiliated with the Faith and Unity unit at the Middle East Council of Churches (MECC), and has worked closely with the World council of Churches (WCC), the Lebanese and the Arab Forums for Muslim-Christian dialogue, as well as with many other local, regional and international bodies. He is the coordinator of the Joint Christian Education Committee, which is producing Ecumenical Christian Education books under the auspices of the Synod of the Patriarch of the East, and is a priest in the Antiochaian Orthodox Archdiocese of Beirut.
He is author of many publications such as “Translation of the Bible to Arabic: A Brief Journey into Recent History (2003, Challenges of Translation and Interpretation in the Third Millennium, Beirut: Notre Dame University Press), “Two Religions in Lebanon: Seeing God in the Other” (2006, God in Multicultural Society-Religion, Politics and Globalization, Beirut: Notre Dame University Press) and many others.
