Biography:

In 1990 Yuliy Yusupov graduated from Tashkent State University, got first class master’s degree in specialty “Economist”.
Yuliy Yusupov is a director of the Centre for Economic Development – since 2008. Since 2007 he is a research coordinator of the business consulting projects in Uzbekistan in consulting firm “EAST-CONNECT Uzbekistan”.

Currently he also serves as an independent expert.

From 2005 to 2007 he served as senior institutional research coordinator of Center for Economic Research, UNDP Facilitating Reform Processes in Uzbekistan Project.
He also worked as a chief editor of UNDP Project in Uzbekistan (1997 – 2005), administrator of editorial unit of the Center for Economic Research and deputy chief editor of “Economic Review” Journal.

His former position is first deputy editor of “Market, Money, and Credit” Journal (1996 – 1997) and from 1994 to 2000 he was senior instructor, University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

His courses included macroeconomics, history of economic thought and comparative analysis of economic systems and basics of economic theory and macroeconomics.
