Alexander D. Borovsky is an internationally acclaimed art critic and historian.
The head of the Contemporary Art Department at the Russian State Museum in St. Petersburg, he is the author of more than two hundred publications on contemporary art, photography and Soviet art history (“The Silhouettes of modern artists”, “Chain of affairs. Russian Art of XX century”, N. Timkow, V. Golubev, Sheila Isham and others).
Since 1994, he has supervised more than one hundred exhibitions of modern art by Russian and foreign artists.
