Editor-in-Chief, "Kyrgyz Tuusu" Newspaper
Bakyt Orunbekov graduated from Moscow State Lomonosov University in 1990. Also he gained his education in Diplomatic Academy of Islamabad (Pakistan) in 1996.
From 1990 to 1995 he worked as a reporter, editor of "Asaba" and "Maydan" newspapers.
Also he served as a chief of Informational Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1995-1997).
He has rich experience in editorial business. Bakyt Orunbekov held the position of editor-in-chief in such newspapers as "Akiykat"(1999 – 2001), "Ferghana" (2001 – 2005).
Currently he is editor-in-chief of the main governmental newspaper "Kyrgyz Tuusu".
He is also a lecturer at the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University.
