Biography:

Tatiana Alexeeva graduated from Moscow State Institute of International Relations in 1970. She got Ph.D. degree (candidate of history) in 1977. In 1992 she became doctor of philosophy (Dr. of Science) on Institute of Philosophy, Russian Academy of Sciences.

Dr. Alexeeva worked as visiting professor in such Universities as University of North Carolina at Charlotte and  Stanford University (Overseas Programme).

In 1970-1973 she served as an editor at Press Agency (APN).

From 1991 to 1998 Dr. Alexeeva held the position of chair of the Dept. of Political Science at Moscow State Linguistic University. At the same time her position was deputy chancellor of the Moscow School of the Social and Economic Sciences, Academy of the National Economy (The Russian-British University).
The areas of specialization of Dr. Alexeeva include political science, political and social philosophy, theories of international relations.
