In 2006 Andrej Zwitter have got Master’s Degree in Law and Ph.D. in Law in 2008. He continued his education in Institute of Philosophy, Karl-Franzens-University Graz, Austria (2001 – 2003).
In 2010 he was a visiting scholar at Columbia University, New York, United States of America.
And in 2009 he was a visiting scholar at Gadjah Mada University of Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
In 2008 he became assistant professor at the Department of International Relations and International Organization, Faculty of Arts, University of Groningen and researcher at the Institute for International Law of Peace and Armed Conflict, Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany.
In 2006 he served as lecturer on criminal law and general legal aspects for private investigators, Pro-Law International (registered association).
In 2008 he was awarded by European Commission and given personal grant for Developing Flagship Research in Humanitarian Action.
Among his recent projects was the Research Project Empirical Ethics in International Relations (Faculty of Arts Seed Funding, University of Gronigen, 2010).
