Victor Khroul graduated from Moscow State University, Russia (1986). He`s got a Diploma of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Theology College, Moscow, Russia (1995).
In 2006 Victor Khroul was a guest lecturer at Pontifical Holy Cross University, Rome, Italy. From 2002 to 2004 he was a visiting professor, Moscow University of International Law, course "The Ethics of communication".
His former position is editor-in-chief, Russian National Catholic Weekly "Svet Evangelia" (1997-2007) and professor at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Theology College (1995-1998).
Professor Khroul`s research areas include sociology of communication, theory of communication, ethics of journalism, religion and media, mass media audience.
Victor Khroul is a member of International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) and World Catholic Association for Communication (SIGNIS). He is holder of such awards as International Titus Brandsma Award (2004, International Catholic Union of the Press (UCIP), International Award for Interreligious Dialogue (2007, UCIP), International Award for Excellence in Journalism (2010, UCIP).
