Biography:

Felice Noelle Rodriguez finished her AB Interdisciplinary Studies (thesis: The Mythic Image of Marcos) from the Ateneo de Manila University in 1987, her masters degree from the University of the Philippines in 1992 (thesis: “Image of Change, Reduction in Zamboanga in the 19th century”) and her doctoral degree, also from the University of the Philippines in 1999 (dissertation: “Philippine Warfare in 17th century Philippines”).


She has written and published on varied topics on Philippine history, particularly on encounters between cultures, Philippine warfare, nationalism, and christianization, and the urbanization of Zamboanga, in both English and Filipino.
