Valentin Yakushik obtained Ph.D. in political science at Institute of the State and Law, Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (“The Contemporary State of Transitional Type: Theoretical and Methodological Aspects”) and Ph.D. in Law at Kiev State University (“Political and Legal Concepts of Democratic Socialism in Portugal”).
Since April 2010 he is a member of the Public Humanities Council, a consultative and advisory body to the President of Ukraine.
