Sienho Yee is Changjiang Xuezhe Professor at the Wuhan University (China) and Editor-in-Chief of Chinese Journal of International Law.

His research interests are in public international law, especially the jurisprudence of the International Court of Justice and the structural issues relating to the international legal system.

He has served as law faculty member at Colorado (Boulder) and London (Queen Mary), visitor at Harvard; Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Resident Fellow, Fowler Hamilton Visiting Research Fellow at Christ Church, Oxford, adviser for a UN project; sub-reporter on ICJ Reform for an ILA Study Group and chairman of the ILA American Branch Committee on Inter-State Dispute Settlement, law clerk to Judge Cowen at the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and Judge Li Haopei at the ICTY and lawyer at the IMF. A member of the Bar of the US Supreme Court, he has done consulting work including preparing filings before the ICJ and the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea.
